This is a savvy Democrat web site. Rumor has it that one of the Tides honchos agreed to help out the brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke after he embezzled a million bucks from the group. Supposedly the Tides guy lent him the money to pay ACORN back.
I guess Teresa Heinz Kerry figures in there too, at least indirectly.

it all started with $100M from Soros to start all the liberal think tanks which sprouted up, media attack dogs like Media Matters, ‘grassroots’ groups like ACORN/Project Vote/etc, and activists/workers from nutty groups like Moron.Org along with other liberal infrastructure which has changed the game from 2000 and 2004.
We need a Soros on the Right to beat these leftist incursions into retreat. And some of those 93 US Attorneys, who were supposedly only allowed to keep their jobs because they were bringing voter fraud cases (or illegal alien cases, whichever media myth you subscribe to...), to file some charges against not just the flunkies who literally forge voter registration cards in local jurisdictions but against the PEOPLE WHO RUN AND FUND ACORN as a CONTINUING CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE worthy of the largest RICO case to hit the political world since the Teamsters were taken over by the DOJ.
And where the Hell is Bush on all this?????!??!??!?!
