Congressional candidate Allen West, a Plantation Republican who wants to unseat Democratic U.S. Rep. Ron Klein, D-Boca Raton, sent out new mail to voters telling them that "if Allen West can stand up to Al-Qaeda, he can stand up to the special interests in Washington.''
In the ad the retired lieutenant colonel from the Army is wearing his uniform, and telling voters that he "has faced down the world's terrorists'' in Iraq, and helped train officers in Afghanistan.
West and Klein running in District 22, which spans from Broward County through Palm Beach County. Klein is defending the seat he won in 2006, when he ousted longtime Republican Congressman Clay Shaw of Fort Lauderdale.

Hey Sofa..... it’s looking really good....... In June he was down by at least 20 points, he’s now only down 6 points according to a CBS article.
He has a debate tonight..... the first one, that should be great..... A Lib group is hosting the debate, but all of the issues favor West in his district..... plus he prepared really well for it.......
So the next few weeks should be a nail biter!!

Even though Allen West’s campaign address is indeed in Plantation, FL, I’m sure the writer of this article got no small sense of fulfillment calling the black West a “Plantation Republican”.
I am glad to hear he’s doing well—I want him to win so badly.
I would say his experience fighting terrorist would definatley help in DC since DC is full of stock market terrorists. UGH. So disgusted with everyone in DC, except the few who opposed this bailout...’

How about Obama openly campaigning for his communist cousin Odinga who signed a pact with Muslims to enact Sharia Law if elected and started riots when he lost. Obama campaigned for an openly Anti-American candidate in a foreign country in 2006 at taxpayer expense.
