Laura just said Palin was charming and Noonan said “I’m getting tired of politicians being charming.” Ummm then why should McCain “play nice”? I’m tired of old hags hawking their books...

My observation from Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread 5 October 2008;

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Approximately 10:35am CST

Outright lying about the Weather Underground, Biltzer goes to a Reporter covering todays Øbama campaign stop, the reporter says

“The Weather Underground carried out a couple of bombings in the 1960’s”

.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, shame, shame shame on CNN and Blitzer for not doing their homework, like over 20 bombings during the 70’s is closer to the truth

BYTE OUT OF HISTORY

http://www.fbi.gov/page2/jan04/weather012904.htm

When the SDS collapsed in 1969, the Weather Underground stepped forward, inspired by communist ideologies and embracing violence and crime as a way to protest the Vietnam War, racism, and other left-wing aims. “Our intention is to disrupt the empire ... to incapacitate it, to put pressure on the cracks,” claimed the group’s 1974 manifesto, Prairie Fire.

By the next year, the group had claimed credit for 25 bombings and would be involved in many more over the next several years.

Laura is disagreeing with her.

Not strongly enough, though. I imagine they're friends in real life, but enough is enough.

Now Noonan is bashing Palin and her "cute colloquial stuff." Thanks, Noonan. On the Obama staff, are you?

It's clear from listening to Laura's show today that Noonan's main problem is that she's a SNOB.

“I’m getting tired of politicians being charming.”

That's odd, because Peggy's whole schtick is charm -- the tilt of the head, the breathless but wise voice, etc.

Roethlisberger should go on DWTS.

He would win!

"At the end of the day, the only difference between Bill Ayers and Tim McVeigh is competence." And heck, McVeigh was over 13 years ago.

If Sarah had been friends with Timothy McVeigh, would the MSM give her an “Ayers pass”?

Going one step further, if Sarah were friends with Ayers, would the DBM give her a pass?

Since it is so much money that Hank Paulson was given, he had to set up a new government trust fund.

It is called

Socialized Housing Investment Trust

It make an appropriate acronym.

I love that she isn’t an elitist Peggy.

That was coming through loud and clear in what Noonan was saying. Her dislike of Palin stems from the fact that Palin's not an elitist. She's not a Harvard or Brown graduate or a northeastern "deep thinker."

We lost Ingraham in Colorado, she used to be on 710 and 740. I don’t know why they dumped her, I thought she had quit or something. They have Gallagher instead, who has a better radio voice, but a low IQ.

If Sarah had been friends with Timothy McVeigh, would the MSM give her an “Ayers pass”?

OR what if they had a picture of Governor Palin sitting on a Vietnamese AA gun?

Hello everyone...in worky/lurky mode.

Is Gov. Palin ok? There looks to be a big bandaid on her ‘waving’’ hand.
