It wasn't the conservative thing to do. Adding more to the nation's debt won't fix what's wrong with the economy or right the wayward course of our government. Today, Chuck Norris offers some words on what becoming a nation of bail-a-holics means.

the time for action in preventing it has come and gone....

we elect a known war hero, a man not well liked because he is tough and stubborn and principled to a fault....

we vote in the millions for McCain...warts and all....

we never give pause to that Hitler in the making...hussein...

these "woe is me" diatribes even from the likes of Norris or Glenn Beck or anyone else..they are not helpful in this situation....

maybe if we had put a little effort in getting more Pubs in the Congress the last time around, rather than stay home and pout, we wouldn't be in this situation....

This is not that complicated. What we have here is another great depression. Caused by Politically correct politics bleeding in to the financial system. Obama was in on it from the start with acorn and the American Communist party. He is the Trojan Horse. I predict massive deflation unemployment and even worse price controls. The bloated government that has caused the problem from city all the way to national levels will do anything to survive. As the tax base declines they will not be willing to cut programs-givaways and government pensions or government jobs. Cash is now king. Prepare to pay the piper.

Once again, I’d rather go way out on a limb and say that C. Norris is far more a Conserv than those in our Capital that decided to foreclose upon the american dream.

Chuck is absolutly right on this, rewarding bad (re illegal) behavior, will only get us more of the same, (BTW Chuck Norris is not a Prophet, He’s not a saint, nor a mind Ninja. No, Chuck N. is just a guy with more than a half of a brain.) Like I posted in other forums, (You Tube, don’t laugh)

‘Thee’ Biggest bailout in US history is far more likely to do far more damage to our economy (cause it’s just the start)than letting these ill run financial institutions fail, I feel for thier loss, really I do. I just dont want to give any of my hard earned pennies to criminals, (among others).

A week or so ago I posted right here on FR that this Bail Out would happen. I was surprised to see some Dems come against it though, Therefore I must conclude I am not a Prophet ( Ha Ha Ha, just a joke, I’m not the “O”). Geez, I’m not even a high school grad (GED yes), and yet I feel I’m superior in intelligence to Bernacke, or should I say, I wish I were as dumb as him, and yet had all his money...

Everyone who voted for the Bailout (now re-christened the Rescue) must be defeated the next time they stand for election (all Representatives stand for election this November). You may be thinking, "weeeeeelll, my congresscritter is good on issue X." No. He showed his true colors by voting for the Bailout. Get rid of him.

Contribute to the campaign of the opponent of anyone who voted YES.

Go to the election headquarters of the opponent and get yard signs and bumper stickers. Display them, and distribute them to friends and family.

Write letters to your local newspaper, opposing the treacherous congresscritter. Use these talking points:

The Bailout does nothing to repeal the Community Reinvestment Act. Banks are still legally required to make loans to unqualified people.
The Bailout does nothing to eliminate "Mark to Market." Banks can still see their capital evaporate if some other bank has to sell its assets at fire-sale prices. (The SEC has modified the rule, but they can restore it at any time.)
The Bailout does nothing to correct Fannie and Freddie. Putting in new management doesn't alter the underlying problem, that they are backed by the taxpayer.
The Bailout does nothing to correct the Fed's inflationary policies, which fueled the housing bubble.
The Bailout will cost at least $2300 per person, $9100 per household, and $5300 per income tax filer.

If there's a talk show in your area, call in and lambaste your congresscritter for voting for this abomination. Call in to national talk shows urging that everyone who voted YES be voted out.

If your congresscritter voted NO, then do the opposite of these things. Support your congresscritter and work against his opponent.

There is still time to act before the election. We can make the Representatives who voted YES pay for their vote. Those Senators who are up for election this year can also be made to pay.

Remember, ballot box, jury box, cartridge box, in that order. Let's use the ballot box while we still have it.
