Excellent, after all of the gloom and doom, it is a touch refreshing to have some hope for a change.

I do think that folks need to keep in mind the purpose of negative campaigning, it is not a panacea at all, it is designed to drive down the oppositions approval numbers via Advertisements.

The MSM knows this, and they know how vulnerable they have made Obama to this line of attack by not completely investigating his background.

Anywho, when the little old lady at the grocery store mentions what a stinker Obama is, that is when you will know the Ayers/Wright line of ads has worked.

for me, I think it is sooo crucial that:

1. The Palin Rallies seize headlines and jazz up the base
2. We have a plan to capitialize on any approval drops for Obama.
3. What sort of actions are initiated after a Gov Palin Rally, are volunteers signing up? Do Republican Registrations move upwards?

I adore the fact that Obamao is jealous of Gov Palin’s crowds, but are they accomplishing anything?

I get queasy with the lovefest going on for Palin because it's a bit indulgent--people seem to really get off on the Palin love, but it's all so celebrity-oriented (people were urging her to go on Saturday Night Live, fer pete's sake). We know all the celeb stuff about her--she has that in spades, we need to see her as hard-hitting and ready to lead. She isn't, IMHO, though she's far more ready than Obama.

I know it's late in the game for this, but I think I'm still astonished Obama has gone ANYWHERE. He's so clearly unfit for the job. I may be the only person who saw Al Gore's support at the convention as a watershed of lunacy--sure, Gore is a phony, but I always thought in his warped mind he thought he was doing good for the country. How anyone with an IQ higher than a green bean can claim this guy is ready to lead is beyond me.

I cringe when I see more Palin "soft" news around here, and was gratified to see she's getting dissed in the press for having the gall to say something substantive about Obama. I think the press are rushing in to douse a fire with her comments about Obama and terrorists, and that actually gives me hope--they'll be so hysterical with denials that people will be curious.
