There’s a wealth of material available for McCain to hang Fannie and Freddie around Obama and the rest of the Dems’ necks. The McCain campaign needs to hammer on this day after day after day. Where are the GOPers on the talking head shows calling this a Democrat scandal? McCain needs to run ads pointing out all of the congressional Democrats who had a hand in preventing more stringent regulation of the GSEs. They need ads that point out Obama took the 2nd most amount of cash from the GSEs.

If McCain truly wants to clean up DC, well, this is target #1. It’s aggravating how he doesn’t want to use the silver bullet he has.

Very simple to follow:

‘You just paid $850 billion because of the Fannie & Freddie mess. Fannie & Freddie blew up because Democrats such as Barack Obama, Frank, Schumer, and Dodd opposed stricter regulations proposed by the GOP for Fannie & Freddie at every turn. Fannie and Freddie made large amounts of campaign contributions to congressmen, almost exclusively Democrats.’

This is the #1 example of the rotten culture of DC that has directly impacted the American people. The Dems have no answer for this. McCain needs to be hitting this day in and day out while Palin hits Obama on his radical, yet thin, resume.

I think John McCain may be pulling a Hillary Clinton: waking up TOO LATE to the fact that Hussein is on a roll, and only NOW when the game is nearly over, does he realize he has to DEFINE HUSSEIN for what he is: a radical leftist.

So really, I mean seriously, what is obie going to hit Senator John McCain with;

The fact that he served as a Naval Aviator in “the” United States Navy....”the” Navy that keeps America safe from enemies both foreign and domestic. What did obie do out of college — snorting coke and smoking weed is not the same...

The fact that he was shot down and became a POW for 5 1/2 years while being tortured and then being offered early release — but instead chose to adhere to the code of conduct. What did obie do...community organizer — we have covered that...next.

The fact that he continued to serve his country after he returned from that ordeal and after hundreds upon hundreds hour of physical therapy was returned to flight status. What did obie do...a lawyer that defended ACORN...brilliant. That is like defending the guy that beat up an old lady...good job obie.

Or maybe obie will try to hit him on John McCain’s American hating friends — you know, the ones that bombed the Pentagon...and smoke week and hang out with other American hate’n radical leftists. Sorry obie, you are the only one that has hung out with hippy, liberal, pot smoking, American hate’n radicals...

When they do the obituary on Obama`s campaign failure, after McCain is sworn in, they will quickly determine that it was Rev Wright that did Obama in.
