IOUSA - The Movie - Questions
Vanity | Tcats

Does anyine know where this movie is playing? Also, why isn't it on Pay-Per-View or available on DVD.

I just wonder why it is in such limited screening as comapred to Al Gore's masterpiece or a Micheal Moore hit job.

Sorry about vanity but the Offivial Website doesn't have much info about screenings, etc.

Thanks. I've been there and on the Web Site but cannot find any screenings anywhere near most places in the US. The distribution seems extremely limited and I wonder why it isn't available on DVD or Pay-Per-View if they really want to get this out - And I think it should be.

I can imagine the I.O.U.S.A. people have a lot of forces aligned against them.

If they can't get any theater play, they will go DVD and YouTube hopefully.

If they get it to a theater in my town, I will go see it.

Agree - I smell an effort to limit distribution, especially before the Election.

I would really like to see it but can’t and I can’t find a link to contact the Producers to ask them why I can’t!

Why not take out a loan to finance wider distribution?

I’m willing to do a credit default swap on that loan for a mere $5 million, just in case the movie tanks...

Saw it here in Raleigh. Debt is huge, but one big guy talking about the terrible debt in IOUSA is none other than Buffett the Obama supporter that could not get us saddled with $700+ billions in debt fast enough while he bought more stock like GE and Goldman Sachs. Kind of feel differently about what was said now as I wonder if he was self serving who else in the film was too. It seems no one but us suckers care about the national debt and the government gravy train.

Agree. Out of all of this turmoil there is one certain outcome - The powerful, well connected will enlarge their interests and the general population will pick up the tab. Most certainly a case of the lunatics running the asylum.
