President Bush delivered his weekly radio address today. The subject was, once again, the economy. The President and First Lady are spending the weekend at their ranch in Crawford TX. Today, they took a short trip to Midland TX where they visited his boyhood home. They also attended a barbecue fund raiser for several Texans running for Congress.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice held talks Saturday in India on a visit to showcase a landmark bilateral nuclear deal, but last-minute hitches derailed the scheduled signing of the pact.
Okay.
I was surprised it (Bush childhood crib) was so modest, it being in TX and all.
Agreed. It will be a long time before our Country has a First Lady that can compare with her.
If anyone ever needed a weekend away from D.C. it is W and I am glad he got to go to TX although he probably would have loved going to Camp David. I think it has been awhile since he has even gotten away to there.
Nice to see you LuvW. How is YOUR Piper doing (she has a famous name and I imagine it will become very popular now, lol)
Thanks for your comments. I am somewhat amazed (and okay, sometimes miffed, lol) that there are still photos on the weekend to post of the President or his Cabinet. This weekend it is Condi in India...shoot don’t they know they are lame ducks?
THANK YOU FOR WAITING FOR THE "ALL CLEAR" BEFORE POSTING ANY PHOTOS

I could not find any new photos of W today; perhaps they are going to stay at the ranch till Monday? I certainly hope so.
