The Vice Presidential debate on Thursday night attracted a bigger television audience than the Presidential debate a week earlier, but is not likely to have much of an impact on the results of Election 2008.
Forty-five percent (45%) of voters thought Biden won the debate while 37% thought Palin emerged victorious. Fans of each campaign overwhelmingly thought their team won. Obama supporters favored Biden by an 81% to 3% margin while McCain voters declared Palin the victor 76% to 5%.

We must be talking a very large swing towards McCain/Palin for this narrative to be so strong across the MSM. Trying to cover up her solid VP performance is like trying to fool the American people over the CBS forged documents scandal in 2004. The electorate isn't going to buy it!

This could be good news - now I know his polls are bogus.
No objective human being on earth could have thought Biden was anything short of a complete doofus. He was drop kicked by Palin within about ten minutes of that debate.

I think there is something to that. Although we won’t know if Palin won the reality battle until she moves the polls. Even if she moves the polls, Juan will express his love for Gore and then I will be confused again.
Biden won the debate? Was it the plastic smile, the Vulcan eyebrows, those oh-so entertaining stories hanging out at Home Depot or dining at restaurants which have been closed for 15 years? Now I know Rasmussen has been bought off by the Obama campaign.
Maybe this is why we didn’t see a bigger bump on the Ras tracking poll today for McCain. It seems impossible to me that the polls have shown Biden to be the debate winner. Very disturbing...

Does his daily tracking include Friday now or take the debate into effect? I notice both McCain and Obama gained a point, but I suspect that by Monday, it will be Obama 50% and McCain 47% or less than that.
On the plus side, Mason-Dixon had McCain +3 in VA.
I will never beleive Obama will get more than 50% of the vote.

Those percentages are actually good. How many thought the debate would be a blowout?
Too bad we can’t subtract Biden’s lies from these results.

Government employees were especially impressed with Biden and declared him the winner by a 59% to 22% margin.
