Wow, the timing is amazing. Karma is a bitch, eh?
Agreed...
The inevitable appeals will most likely focus on the supposed bias of the jury and the jury’s racial make-up. Too bad sentencing isn’t scheduled until Dec. 5th. Don’t know if the defense lawyers’ race-card antics will have an effect on annoying voters before the election.
So far, there hasn’t been much backlash against Obama for his little race remarks (at least in the press.)
The blacks? You mean people like Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams and Condoleezza Rice? Maybe some of our black members of Free Republic can let us know if they plan to riot.
President Obama’s first pardon?
I dont think they were the sort of people in south LA for the RK riots, or who tactically approved of the riots, like other black leaders did back then.
Criminals make their own fates. The rest of us put it on the record. This one’s for you, Ron and Nicole.
Well, 13 years too late, but I’m still glad he finally got what he deserved. Now cue the rioting of disaffected blacks who still think he’s the second coming of Christ.
Reminds me of what finally put Al Capone away.
You don’t think the judge remembers the previous unjust acquittal. Who’s idea do you think it was to have the jury read the verdict at 11 p.m. on the 13th anniversary?
I don’t think this is going to be a light sentence. He’s toast.
You don’t need to see a clip. That’s exactly what you saw.
“Taking her words out of context in a reply to O’Reilly regarding Barney Frank, she said she sent him a fruit basket. I laughed out loud, along with my husband.”
Ha, ha, ha.
I caught that, too.
It wasn’t out of context.
Fruit basket for the fruit cake!!!
Local browns point pig roast reporting for duty
Unfortunately for someone, OJ isn't going to be victimized by Big Bubba ... he's going to be Big Bubba. Hey, someone's gotta provide the justice.
I said that a life sentence would be harder ON him now, not harder to get.
This time his prison sentence will probably be even more bitter for him to swallow than it would have been 13 years ago.
I think that he is a goner for life.
Kinda reminds one of Al Capone, don't it?
They weren’t complaining about racism with the idiotic majority black jury that acquitted him in ‘95.
Christopher Darden was actually my trial advocacy professor in the summer of ‘95, while the trial was going on. My class got a bit of inside information from him, and we asked him about the gloves, too. I sat in on one day of the trial that he got me into.
That was one dumb looking jury. I should have known when I looked at them that they would F it up, but I was shocked like everyone else when they acquitted him.
I don’t know about harder. He would have had to spend 13 more years in prison!!!
He’s now 61, so he may not even live another 13 years.
Yeah, no one knows something like that, but recently there was a domestic terrorist chick that finally got out of prison, after being free for awhile, she was told there was a mistake and she had to go back to prison for an additional year.
I had the feeling that the one year of additional time given to her when she thought she was free and clear was going to seem especially hellish for her to serve.
The folks you mentioned are commonly referred to as “Oreo” or “House NiXXXXX” by the miscreants who consider riots as a means to go discount shopping and hell raising against the “man” who has paid them welfare for generations.
Currently - political correctness has removed from polite vocabulary a term to use that would distinguish between respectable blacks and those who aren't....
But you knew that, right?
