However I have already been banned twice by Free Republic so I’m afraid I see no difference whatsoever between conservatives and liberals when it comes to intolerance of those who simply may disagree. And since I’ve now made this known, I’ll likely be banned yet a third time.
***Well, you’re probably right. But if this were your fist time you probably wouldn’t get banned.

So please don’t try and tell me that conservatives are more tolerant than liberals. It just isn’t so.
***I prefer objective analysis to subjective. That’s why I like Intrade. So... my suggestion to you is to log on at the Intrade forum and discuss politics there. It’s not liberal nor conservative, and the only thing you’ll get kicked out for is bad language or violence or stalking or something like that. Over there I post as ko, open supporter of Free Republic, Duncan Hunter, Sarah Palin, and all that is holy... ;-)

Many people are intolerant of that which they disagree with, regardless of their politics. It’s just a sad part of human nature.
***I agree.

Another example of that is Phil Berg himself.
.... However they have been systematically banning people there who have done nothing more than voice their comments. The only problem was that Berg didn’t agree with the comments. How’s that for someone claiming to have filed his lawsuit in order to uphold the Constitution?
***Here’s the thing to keep in mind. It’s Phil Berg’s website, his own private property, just like this here freeper thingy is JimRob’s kitchen. If someone kicks you out of their kitchen, it doesn’t mean they’ve removed your right to free speech in that town. Just in that little private property domain of their own kitchen.

Sorry if I’m being cynical here. But since I first started posting on this whole issue over three months ago, I’ve been met with nothing but the most visceral intolerance. From HillaryClintonForum, to TexasDarlin, to AtlasShrugs, to NoQuarter, to FreeRepublic, to ObamaCrimes.
***Try the Intrade thing. You can find my Birth Certificate thread over there:

Possibly Forged Obama Birth Certificate

Trading isn’t necessary (you can sign up for a play money account and still post over there); just don’t say anything impolite about Intrade... that can’t be too difficult.

However NoQuarter is due some credit. They’re the only one on that list that hasn’t banned me.
***Give them time... ;-)

Actually, the first time I was banned, pissant, and I believe even yourself said that I shouldn't be banned. That was just moments before I was banned.

Absolutely. I would be the first to say that the First Amendment doesn't apply to private systems such as this.

However that doesn't change the fact that Berg publicly stated on his own website that he welcomed people to voice their comments there and that to do so was a right of free speech guaranteed by the Constitution.

Point being that Berg did nothing more than cynically wrap himself in the Constitution while feeding people a load of crap.

***Give them time... ;-)

Hehehe. Well, there's not really much opportunity. It seems this is all that's been said of the case over there since August 25th (by Larry Johnson):

Some are getting their shorts in a knot because I have not put up a piece on the Phil Berg law suit filed last week in Philadelphia challenging the candidacy of Barack Obama. The reason is simple. The case has been filed and there is nothing to report until the judge makes a decision and requires discovery. I wish Phil the best, but want to keep the focus on other issues for now. If the case moves forward we will cover it extensively. Okay?

With Johnson having been burned on such things as the "Whitey tape," Techdude, and the Hawaiian birth certificate in the name of Barry Soetoro, it seems he's not wanting to touch the Berg case with a ten foot pole.
