Pelosi’s Blue Dogs are nothing but Pink Poodles
The Collins Report ^ | Oct, 3 2008 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

At the very end of September 2006, after a nationwide speaking campaign by President George W. Bush, The Hotline poll reported the generic ballot for Congress was even at 40% for each party. At the same time Gallup was saying the Democrats had an insignificant two point generic lead making it a virtual tie.

The history of generic polling shows that Republicans always under poll. Most political observers agree that anything better than –4 for Republicans is considered a good sign for the GOP.

In the weeks and days leading up to that final September generic poll, many people were optimistic that the Republicans could actually increase their slim lead in the House and Senate. It’s easy to laugh at that idea now, but only the Democrat’s inner circle knew the Mark Foley scandal was coming the next day.

The Democrats seized the opportunity and ran with it.

Across the country so called conservative “Blue Dog” Democrats proclaimed themselves “Just as conservative as [ the Republican they wanted to replace].” They promised us conservatism and that increased their share of the Evangelical vote by 15% in reaction to “Foley.”

All of these “Blue Dogs” have turned into “Pink Poodles.”

Using the American Conservative Union’s (ACU) rating system, 24 freshmen Democrats were measured against the Republicans they defeated.

The average defeated Republican carried an ACU rating of 80%. The average, “Pink Puddle” who replaced him/her has an ACU rating of 9%.

The most conservative defeated Republicans had an average ACU rating of 94%. Their “Pink Poodle” replacements averaged just 21%.

We must vote with our heads this year or suffer the consequences.

If voters are stampeded because of the Democrat’s criminal behavior in the Fannie Mae scandal, things will get much worse.

We can't let this type of foolish reaction hand the Democrats total power.

If Obama wins, these dogs will be gone in 2010.

I think the people who voted against their incumbent R congressman because of the Foley deal, except those in Foley’s district, were a little bit dumb.

Freshman representatives have no almost no pull except what is granted to them by more senior members. WIth Nancy Pelosi as the giver of pull, what did they think was going to happen?

Wonderful. My scumbag Blue Dog (Patrick Murphy) has a lifetime ACU rating of 4. He seems to have done nothing other than suck up to people like Pelosi and Traitor Murtha.

Here's Pelosi's boy toy arm in arm with the Traitor Murtha.

Doyou think the fools that voted these bozos in even have the faintest idea of how the majority party gets to chair the committees ,how senority works etc etc

That should be the center piece of the election for these seats this year along with the economy mess the dems caused

Chet Edwards (D-TX) is her favorite dimpled poodle. He votes any way she tells him to, and then comes back to Texas and tell his fellow Aggies what a conservative he is. And of course, being Aggies, they believe him. Who needs to read the voting record? It only confuses them.
