America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction.
This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.
if we stay faithful in prayer and intercede for america as king david interceded for israel, we will see God's answer.

Lord, there are those in our congress and government who serve and support evil and are working for the destruction of america. we ask You to remove them and replace them with godly people who will do what is right and truly serve the people. please protect america from her enemies. we thank You in Jesus’ Name...amen
Lord, we ask You to bless sen. mccain and gov. palin. please give them strength and wisdom for the coming election and give them great favor with the people. please watch over and protect them and their families. may they hear Your voice and desire to do Your will. may they be bold and courageous and make decisions to do what is right in Your sight and speak out and stand against the evil in our country that is trying to destroy america... we thank You as we ask in Jesus’ Holy Name....amen

Father we come together as one voice, and lift up Governor Palin in prayer and ask that You continue to carry her and lead her along the right path. We pray Your loving hand of mercy touch each need Governor Palin has as You gently remind her of Your promise - that we will be richly rewarded for keeping our confidence in You. Father, give her that second wind, and fuel she needs to keep up the faith in those promises. Psalms 27:3 - says ‘Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident.’ Father we are also asking that You open the heart and mind of each individual watching, listening, and participating in tonight’s debate, and give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it. Give Governor Palin Your light, Father, and Your truth, and guide her in this debate, through Jesus Christ.

I believe she is going to rock the house. I have many co-workers making fun of her to me and I’m ticked!! What really bothers me is that conservatives do not have any media, except FoxNews, for balance. All the other stations are left wing. Same with the newspapers. It’s actually very disturbing to see our country become so mean and harsh and cruel and to get away with it. I’m mad about this PBS woman given the hostess position tonight. Why didn’t McCain’s camp say no? Why is McCain pandering to the leftist media? They would never pander to us. They are much more conniving at politics than we are.

Lord Jesus, there seems to be new problems every day! The Senate last night passed the bailout bill (which McCain & Obama both voted for); now it goes to the House, which will probably vote on it tomorrow.
Lord, this socialist-minded bill CANNOT be passed! It will undermine our financial markets and our economy. It’s going to thrust America even further towards socialism, which we don’t want! God, PLEASE!!!!! Have mercy!!!!
Our economy can heal itself on its own! That’s what capitalism is! The markets have already been acting negatively towards the Senate passing the bailout bill; I can’t even imagine what they’ll do if the House passes it and President Bush signs it!
God, let McCain come to his senses and realize that this is wrong! The bill has like 2,322 earmarks, worth over $6 billion; it the essence of the very thing he has been campaigning against!! Lord, let him apologize for voting for this bill and let him actively campaign against it!
Lord, McCain’s obsession with “bipartisanship” has gone too far! He needs to stand up for what is right, rather than seeking “bipartisan unity.” Let McCain stand for conservative principles, for the sake of America!
And God, I pray against the fraudulent voting that is going on in Ohio! Lord, what the liberals are doing is wrong, unethical and despicable! They are busing in people from places that aren’t even in Ohio, offering them “incentives,” registering them to vote without IDs, and “encouraging” them to vote for Obama.
God, we will lose our country if the Obamanation is elected! God, I beg you, don’t let Obama be elected President! We don’t need him and we don’t want him. We don’t want a socialist police-state. Have mercy, God! Have mercy!
The damage that Obama, with his socialist agenda, will do to our nation is unthinkable. Lord, it seems that many Americans don’t even know who or what they are voting for. God, OPEN THEIR EYES, in Jesus’ Name!!!!! Let them see! Let them see the truth!
God, be with Sarah Palin tonight as she prepares for the debate with Joe Biden. Give her peace of mind, letting her know that You are with her always. Give her a calm spirit, with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her be on the alert and on the offense, from the attacks that the liberals are going to throw at her.
Lord, I pray that Sarah will be able to overcome the liberal bias that the moderator, Gwen Ifill, has towards Obama. Don’t let Sarah fall into any of the traps that Gwen and Biden may (and probably will) set for her.
We love Sarah Palin and we know that she will do well in this debate! She is a strong fighter and I pray that You will keep her strong. Let America see what an amazing person she really is! Let America see who she truly is; not what the liberal MSM has portrayed her to be!

Sarah can handle anything thrown at her from anybody.
I believe the moderator was chosen for several reasons the main one in hope camp McCain would complain about the book and make them look petty by complaining bias,and because she’s a black female.So they could pull the race card as well if camp McCain complained. Her being a female does have another advantage - she can attack Sarah unlike a male moderator could.
So IMO it’s in camp McCains best interest to not fall into this trap that was set. I think it’s a brillant move NOT to gripe about it.
