If he is not willing to take off he gloves, he may as well just pull out of the election. The man is pathetic.

Do not know why McCain cannot see the 'war' for the soul of our Country is at hand.

It demands as much Fortitude - and comittment, as our war against terrorism.

Bush suffered the same 'blind-eye' malaise; when it came to dealing with our enemies on the Left - here at home.

Unfortunately, I tend to agree. I thought he had shown occasional signs of brilliance, as with the pick of Palin. However, the past week or so he seems more like Bob Dole. He should be attacking, attacking, attacking - linking Obama to Schumer, Dodd and Frank, etc. Bob Dole II, the sequel. Sad...pathetic.

Maybe he is just “suspending” his campaign in Michigan?

Is it too late to have Romney replace this dud?

The man is pathetic.

Of course he is, that is why the Republican party, controlled by the globalists put him up for office.

I hate to say it, but you are right. He said, fight, fight, fight! But he is coming across as an appeasing pacifist. Driving me crazy!

Now, now there! Those of us who know McCain and don't care for him are not supposed to antagonize his base of principled supporters; especially here on a Republican Conservative web forum.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm perhaps I got those "strike outs" backwards.

;-)

BINGO - read this Andy McCarthy piece I've had it with the Left and I've had it with "conservatives" who haven't had it with the Left

That is what has bothered me about McCain, not willing to slug it out in an anything goes bar brawl. He wants to fight by Queensberry rules, Queensberry rules only work among men with honor. The democRATS are not honorable people.

He's pathetic alright.....he's campaigning like he wants to loose this race....after his vote for the crappy bail out bill last night, I'm sure of it.

Can you imagine how his numbers would have risen if last night he had marched up to the microphone and stated flatly that, “NO,I'm Not voting for this lousy bill, wouldn't have voted for it as it was presented in the House, and I sure won't vote for it with all the “sweet stuff” the Senate has tacked onto it.” How this man who evidently “pretended” outrage at the habit of Congress adding “earmarks” benefiting their pet contributors, could possibly vote yea on this bill that stinks to high heaven is beyond me.

Seriously, I had no intention of voting for this man ever, but the powers that be behind the Republican Committee saw fit to wind up with him as their nominee...since I sure would never vote for the smarmy Marxist loving “Osama”Obama and when McCain put Sarah Palin on the ticket, that made it easier for me to hold my nose and back him.....but I will say, if it were not for Sarah, I'd never vote for the man....and I think the McCain “handlers” have done her no favors in how they've “managed” her TV appearances and have not come to her defence, by pointing out some very obvious negatives in Obama and Biden...there's all kinds of fodder to be found on those two...and the MSM, for that matter.

I wish Sarah well, and if McCain/Palin doesn't win this Nov. I so hope she goes back to her beloved Alaska, stays as refreshing as she is, and comes back in 4 years to run for President.

I can’t help but agree with you. Wrong man at the wrong time. Republicans can’t afford to field any more weak candidates, assuming they’ll ever get another chance.
