Well, I'm assuming they have a darned good reason to spend their cash elsewhere. Time will tell if it was good strategy. No point panicking or getting depressed now.

Not the polls in the last week of the election, in fact several networks were told privately that Kerry was a lock to win and they made preperations to report the fact.
