The Simpsons hasn't been funny for years. When it was, they made a point of skewering liberals and political correctness, as well as the Republicans who sometimes deserved it. This country is becoming so polarized that it is truly frightening, and it is "open-minded" Liberals who are actively promoting it.

I can't stand how much of a liberal propaganda device the Simpsons has become over the last few years.
It's translated into much less funny episodes, and characters completely twisted from their former, likable selves. Lisa has gone from the wise, kind, charming little girl from the first seasons into an obnoxious, self- righteous, arrogant little brat who always crams her views down everyone's throats and throws a temper tantrum whenever anyone dares to disagree with her, and is portrayed by the show as a HERO for doing so! Ned Flanders has gone from the prudish- yet- friendly guy next door to a mean, brainless zealot who always gets proven wrong in episodes which feature him in a major role, and is now used pretty much exclusively as a way for Groening and the show’s writers to vent their immense hatred of all Christians.
I’m quickly losing my patience with that show.
