Voting for alternative Republicans is only an option at the primary level. Once you are at the general election level, anything less than a party vote begs us to lose seats, forfeit control and subject us to anything Democrats want to cram down our throats.

McCain is getting '41ed' on this. He's going to piss off his base just like '41 did when he went back on his no new taxes pledge (which cost him the election).
