Social conservatism and knowing right from wrong are not mutually exclusive but rather go hand in hand.
Right and wrong is determined by a combination of factors including, the Bible, the Constitution and parental teachings.
Folks who have difficulties distinguishing right from wrong typically do so from the lack any of the above teachings on which to reference to - therefore, their idea of right and wrong differ from say, what I consider right and wrong.
However, that does not change the face that right is right and wrong is wrong and wrong carries penalties.

I’m just saying it’s not all black and white, the gray areas of “right” and “wrong” as it were. Common sense laws, but I could give you so many scenarios where it’s just not black and white, that’s wrong, this is right obstacles.
