McCotter was on Fox as well. Still rabidly against taxpayers paying for “toxic debt” that investors won’t even consider.

The scuttlebut seems to be that the House will pass the bailout bill tonight. YUCH!
McCain is getting '41ed' on this. He's going to piss off his base just like '41 did when he went back on his no new taxes pledge (which cost him the election).

Don’t get down.
All you’re getting is the MSM talking points.
Flyover country doesn’t even rate a mention with those birds, and we don’t talk all that much, anyway. We just da** do.

Allow me to post some random thoughts on the Dems Enronning America, AKA
Demronning, (H/T
syriacus).
- Bailout is Conservatives' Path to Power in 2010
- This bailout business reminds me of the ending of book of Genesis where Israel subjugates itself to Pharaoh in exchange for security. Right before Israel becomes enslaved to Pharaoh.
- If America really must spend 1 trillion assuage guilt poor people in my own home town need a decent home far more than Franklin Raines needs his 100 mil. As The Black Congressional Caucus says:
Members of the Black Congressional Caucus and Hispanic Congressional Caucus, who represent poor communities blighted by foreclosed homes and who voted heavily No on Monday, insisted on more aid for their constituents before changing their votes.
"The poor poor blacks, poor whites, Native Americans, Latinos get little help from this administration. Then they come in here and ask us to bail out Wall Street. Im not prepared to," said John Lewis, from Georgia.

The Black Caucus in Congress looked at Fannie and Freddie as an instrument of Slave Reparations. By bailing out Fannie and Freddie, we are just perpetuating this bad policy.
Hey, why not subprime auto loans for the 'poor', so they get their mule AND their 40 acres?
And once the stalinist left invades the bureaucracy of a government run, socialized financial sector, who knows where the tyranny will end? Imagine Code Pink types installed as the loan officers at all the banks!

Okay, I'm really depressed today. Almost hopeless about the election. I cannot put into words how bad the world seems to me right now.
So what would a great men like Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, William F. Buckley do? Fight for what you believe in. Fight until your last drop of energy is spent and blood is spilled. If Obama and the Democrats win it all in November, fight even harder. It is only the end if you allow it to be so.
Conservatism is the answer, even if you have to scream it alone in the crowd with no support. It is worth fighting for. That is what having principals is all about. It is not about a political party, a nominee, or a media.
America is about freedom. Freedom to choose to be who you want to be. America is the lone beacon, the great experiment of human instinct for freedom. It started with only a few, grew into a nation that has survived for over two centuries. That is always worth fighting for, no matter what the obstacles.
Continue to fight. It is the right thing to do.
