Okay, I'm really depressed today. Almost hopeless about the election. I cannot put into words how bad the world seems to me right now.

So what would a great men like Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, William F. Buckley do? Fight for what you believe in. Fight until your last drop of energy is spent and blood is spilled. If Obama and the Democrats win it all in November, fight even harder. It is only the end if you allow it to be so.

Conservatism is the answer, even if you have to scream it alone in the crowd with no support. It is worth fighting for. That is what having principals is all about. It is not about a political party, a nominee, or a media.

America is about freedom. Freedom to choose to be who you want to be. America is the lone beacon, the great experiment of human instinct for freedom. It started with only a few, grew into a nation that has survived for over two centuries. That is always worth fighting for, no matter what the obstacles.

Continue to fight. It is the right thing to do.

When Rush sounds nervous, I know it's time to be nervous. He is really on fire today but the thing that's a little disturbing is that there's a twinge of ... dare I call it, desperation in his rant today? It sounds like he's pissed at the electorate who he knows is about to do him (and the rest of us) in.
