For another candidate, it might have been characterized as a passionate defense. But for Senator John McCain, who has long battled accusations that he has a short temper, an interview today with The Des Moines Register could be more damaging. Some of Mr. McCains responses to questions about issues that have been prominent in the press for the past few weeks came across as sarcastic sometimes testy. Furthermore, the Iowa newspaper put his interview with the editorial board online, leaving him vulnerable to unflattering mash-ups.
Really? he responded to a question about possible concern from voters about Gov. Sarah Palins level of experience. I havent detected that in the polls, I havent detected that among the base. If theres a Georgetown cocktail party person who, quote, calls himself a conservative who doesnt like her, good luck.

Lets see live in hell for several years with your arms being constantly broken backwards not to mention other assorted body parts being ripped apart while still holding it together and keeping the Moral of the other men around you up as much as possible I think i too would be "sometimes testy" especially given the attitude of the fifth column in this country and being interviewed by the same type of communists that belittled and tortured you for your years in hell !
Giveem hell John !
As the experience of George W. Bush has shown, the American people have little respect, and even less use, for a President who won't return fire at his political opponents, even those who hide behind a byline.
Unfortunately we in Indianapolis inherited their left-wing scumbag former editor, Dennis Ryerson. I was at a party where he showed up. He was pontificating about “right-wingers” in the most incendiary terms. He sounded more like Norman Mailer drunkenly spouting off in a bar in Queens than an editor of a daily newspaper.
I love sarcasm. This would make me feel all warm and fuzzy towards McCain if I wasn’t so totally pissed off about the vote today.
Why is McCain still wasting his campaign finances and valuable remaining time in the complete-waste-of-a-state like Iowa??
Seriously! McCain is going to lose Iowa by 10 points if not more. He didn’t even bother to show up for the GOP primary there but now he wants to waste time there?
Is McCain going to join the Ethanol Cult in Iowa? Cuz if he isn’t then he is wasting our valuable time. Iowa is on the take as a state and if you aren’t on the Ethanol Pork Train then you might as well not waste even a visit there. It’s not like McCain is going to Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont or Hawaii but he has no better chance of winning Iowa than he does those states.
Exactly the answer the conservative bloggers were asking him to give.
Give mcCain credit folks.
Yup.
But it seems they’re moving back to “I’m not voting!” or “i’m voting for Barr!” pouting.
