The Senate leaders, Majority and Minority, just came out to praise the heroic efforts of Chris Dodd in crafting the new bailout. This reassured me that I still have an iron stomach: nothing even tried to come up.
Has anyone else heard about someone offering exactly five hundred forty-six “Class A” hunting license for a season starting tonight and running through November three? I’m kind of beyond the age of going hunting when the snow blows, but I might consider it while the weather holds. But for five hundred forty-six what?
And if the Dems still control the Senate after this election guess who will Chair the committee that will do the investagation on the cause of and the individules that lead to this Bailout.
