Not just Freddie and Fannie, they set in motion many plans that they know or don’t care if and when they fail. As long as it spends YOUR money and makes the government larger.

Why Bush keeps these people around is beyond me. That was the biggest failure and mistake of his presidency. He should have summarily dismissed all the Clinton holdovers.

Couple that with the Democrat liberal stance on blocking oil drilling, blocking new hydro electric dams, blocking nuclear power production, blocking alternative power generation as a so called blight on their scenic horizons, etc. and the answer is clearly resoundingly yes!
