Plenty of “conservatives” play the out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new trophy wife sweepstakes, too. Including many here on FR. They’re economic conservatives, that’s all. (Except with trophy wife’s no-limit bling-bling charge cards, of course.)

One notable exception came in 2004 when Mrs. Baucus was charged with a misdemeanor for assaulting another woman after a dispute over a bag of mulch at a Washington, D.C., garden store. Was the story covered in the Washington Compost?

At least it’s not about Jim Backus (Thurston Howell, III). It would be hard for him and his wife to split up when he’s been dead for 19 years.

That’s the way Dims behave. They get tired of their old wife, divorce her and find a younger, more attractive woman. For Democrats, marriage is about sex, instead of the sacred union it is meant to be.
I had no idea that John McCain was democratic. Be careful how you talk...this is not something we need to bring up. Let’s just let this one slide.

For Democrats, marriage is about sex, instead of the sacred union it is meant to be.Republicans are arguably as bad if not worse. The "high moral ground" argument isn't one the GOP can come anywhere close to making without being laughed off the stage.
Not happy about it, but I don't wear rose colored glasses and pretend that reality is somehow different than it is.
