As If It Weren't Obvious (Proof the MSM Fix for Obama is ON)
LittleGreenFootballs/Instapundit ^ | 9/30/2008 | Charles Johnson/Glenn Reynolds

From Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit, an email from a reader who works in a mainstream media newsroom:

“Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working.”

Glenn Reynolds: "I asked permission to reprint without attribution and it was granted."

Not that this comes as a big surprise, but no one should expect anything but Obama-puff and McCain/Palin vilification from the media for the rest of this election.

If the McCain campaign wants to raise an issue, they will have to raise it directly with the American people.

We need hidden cameras (where legal) in newsrooms. Seriously. A little investigative journalism on the journalists.

I have a recommendation. Sounds like we need a strike force in Alaska to knock some heads.

Rush mentioned this in the first minutes today...think it caused LGF’s site to crash.

tell your friend he could become famous (and possibly rich!) if he were to come public NOW then write a book about this and what happens to him after he comes forward.

(he would have to have some big brass ones, and no skeletons- does he?)

Only works to his maximum benefit is he does it NOW

Can you picture a Fox and friends interview?

I run a school newspaper here at my high school in Alaska. The NewsHour on PBS asked for student essays about Sarah Palin. We sent many e-mails back and forth. They got some glowing essays about how much they loved Sarah and appreciated her integrity and values.

Then the e-mails stopped coming. We haven’t heard from them since.

I work for a major newspaper. I’m outspoken, and thus am ridiculed, even persecuted. The bias is beyond what you would imagine. The arrogance is beyond what you would imagine. And you know what? Few of them are especially smart, just ideological “wordsmiths” who bolster each other yet do not tolerate any independent thinking. Total group-think, deciding what news we read and don’t read, with their ideology and objectives stamped on it.

This is no surprise, folks. This has been going on for decades. Journalism is dead! All we’ve got are Fox News, talk radio and internet sites like this. If Nobama is elected I guarantee he will revisit the (Un)Fairness Doctrine. That’s the way of Chicago thug politics. Clear the playing field!!!! This is no longer the USA it’s the USSA — the United Socialist States of America. Thank God we’ve got guys like Rush amd Hannity still around.

What you describe is the High School clique mentality. Not far off from a dog pack instinct.

I often wonder when these group-think people will cross the line once too often and the put upon, decent folk will erupt in spontaneous retaliation that has not been seen before.

It isn’t easy. They are savaging McCain right now. Andrea and her guests are talking as if this is all still a problem today because McCain is erratic. Seriously.
I don’t know how much longer I can stand the First Amendment under this BS torture. The msm is riding this whirlwind for all it’s worth, trying to get 0bama elected.
Meanwhile 0bama is telling a crowd that after Washington passes some law fixing this mess, it’s only “the beginning.” Promises to do MORE.
Bohica.

Journalists - the “C” students of the world. They are chosen to be not so smart because it makes it easier to indoctrinate them in J-school.

It’s funny, I was thinking the same thing about Nancy Pelosi’s speech. It was like something from an obnoxious high school member of the “in crowd”, telling the the nerds what a bunch of losers they are.
