People will have to be rationed to four modest portions of meat and one litre of milk a week if the world is to avoid run-away climate change, a major new report warns.
The report, by the Food Climate Research Network, based at the University of Surrey, also says total food consumption should be reduced, especially "low nutritional value" treats such as alcohol, sweets and chocolates.

Time for a couple of chili-cheese burgers.

Time for a big ol' slab of prime rib, with lots o' grilled onions, big baked potato with butter and sour cream, and I'll throw a bone to the environmental wackos by ordering a GREEN salad.
Won't be eating it, but it'll look nice on the table. LOL

Liberals are “pro-choice” (except when it comes to what you can eat, drive, where you can live, how big your house should be, what light bulbs you use, toilets you flush, ad nauseum).

I can’t believe the general public esteems these nuts as objective scientists. Why not go all the way? Let’s return to the hunter-gatherer paradigm. Surely millions (billions?) will die, but at least the earth will be safe.

I think they’ve got this wrong. Alcohol consumption should at least quadruple. Everyone knows being intoxicated makes you lose your appetite, and everyone will be too drunk to drive. This will reduce the average person’s carbon footprint considerably. Indeed, governments worldwide should supply free liquor. We need it to save the planet.

Tara Garnett should ration her attempts at thinking to four times a week.

We know you're in there and you've had a 5th portion of meat this week. Come out peaceably so we can take you to the Gore reeducation camp for climate survival.

And on the fourth day, the Gorical went forth from his carbon neutral mansion which nonetheless burned up massive kilowatts each day and, following a traditional maxifatboy lunch to maintain his spiritual zeal, the chubby one spoke, and he said fellow carbon units, you must consume less to say the planet, while I consume more. This doctrine I call "global warming moving in mysterious ways..."
