Published on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:39 AM AKDT Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP vice presidential nominee, agreed to a request by her hometown newspaper, the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, for an interview by providing written responses via e-mail to the following questions.
The responses here were not edited and are preceded by the verbatim questions posed to her.
Dang. This is the best interview she’s given since she was nominated. She really ought to do this sort of stuff more often.
THANK YOU for posting this!!

I submit that the above is the reason for the “good” interview.
The McCain campaign shoudl INSIST on no edited or cut interviews.
Either they must be broadcast live live, or broadcast IN THEIR ENTIRETY.
Are you sure we can’t vote for Palin/McCain?
I remain amazed that the same Euro-weenies along with their fellow travelers here who whine about Mrs. Palin’s supposed ‘lack of qualification’ for the office of Vice President are giddy at the prospect of Mr. Obama becoming President. This is what happens when 50% of the voting populace are net consumers of government services and largesse. I would submit, based on yesterday’s vote in the House of Representatives, that the American people, at least in flyover country, won’t buy it and are sick of kicking the can down the road. The coming correction will be rough, granted, but it is absolutely necessary.
Go Sarah Go!
Oops, hometown newspaper web site drowning under traffic load.
Good interview!
He's what, 72? Are you sure there is really a difference?
Mark Steyn suggested that McCain’s handlers let Sarah off the leash. He was mystified that she hasn’t been allowed to make the rounds of the conservative media.
He especially recommended the campaign insist on live unedited interviews.
