When you cut through all the Bull Puckey on this vote, it comes down to about 20 Democrats would have lost their seats at home if they would have voted for this.

The public saw through their BS and talking heads this past week.

This vote was to save face for some. This thing is far from over as they move forward to wear down the public. People will soon lose interest, the media will stoke the fires of fear and when nobody is paying attention they will get it done.

I thought that companies were having trouble borrowing money to pay salaries, etc.....and that there were going to be alot of layoffs. Was that propoganda?

In my opinion, yes.

Unless your company payroll relies on credit instead of real profit, you should be OK.

Yep. The House Dems are SHOCKED because when Americans were able to LEARN about this problem, they understood that it meant pain, but Americans STOOD LIKE ADULTS.

It is a reminder that we are powerful. We can make things happen. We are their employers, they seem to have forgotten that. No to socialism, no to corruption and self interest.

Off subject, but in the same vein, I wanted to share with you all what happened at my church this weekend. My wife was cantoring, and at the end of the mass our Pastor brought an altar server up who had just done her first mass. Then our Pastor introduced a newly engaged couple in the front row, noting how they had both once been altar servers too. Then he told the congregation that they were both Army Captains and had met each other while serving in Baghdad, and invited them to stand up and take a bow. They got a THUNDEROUS STANDING OVATION for a good five minutes solid.

Another display of patriotism you'll never hear about in the drive by media that makes me proud to be an American!

I think I would just sit there and swirl that for about 10 minutes before my first sip. I could not imagine the bouquet that would come out of that. But, I dream!
