If Raines is advocating the forcible transfer of money from those who rightfully earned it to those who irresponsibly wasted what they had, then this might be an inappropriate descriptor. thief /θif/ [theef] –noun, plural thieves. a person who steals, esp. secretly or without open force; one guilty of theft or larceny. The correct word for someone who takes valuables by force is "robber".
Funny: my Swiss banker friend also says that the unique credit card debt that is America’s is the problem as well. I did not realize we are the only country to let people buy tons of stuff with no money, but it seems we are.
