What I don’t get is the amount of attention paid to the Super Bowl halftime show. Between that and the ads it’s as if everyone forgets the point of the event: to play football.

I really think that every music concert should be interrupted by an NFL game. I have no idea why they allow the trashy music industry to garbage up the field at halftime with those gaudy and time consuming spectacles with thousands of participants.
And besides, isn’t Springstein that jackass who hid in Canada during the Vietnam War? What a jerk!
Since the Lions will take it all the way this year, a good halftime show would be Kwame Kilpatrick breakdancing. He should be out of jail by then.
