Don’t change the headline again.

“The plan, bollixed up for days by election-year politics...”
Assuming that to bollix means to hold up, wtf? There probably wouldn’t be this much urgency if it wasn’t an election year. If to bollix means to accelerate, ignore my comments.

This is Yahoo/AP crap. Let's see other sources to this. Boener, Boner whatever his name is, was in a presser about the GOP Plan...read revisised 700 Billion Bailout grant.
Which is it?

How are we supposed to post an AP story?
We cannot post text. We cannot post title?

“Now its on the democrats necks.”
Don’t be so sure. What is to stop them, in the event of future collapse, from re-convincing everyone greedy speculators and CEOs are to blame?
To: Brian S. Fitzgerald
Couldn’t have stated it better or more to the point. Their only disagreement amongst themselves and the DEMs was if they wanted it on wheat or Rye bread.

Some are wondering why the majority RATS needed "bipartisan" support. IMO it wasn't just about spreading the blame if the plan fails. CongressRATS whose districts are in play need to vote against the plan in order to take the issue off the table in their races. These are the pseudo-conservatives that were run in 2006 by the RATS to get a majority. They need to vote aginst the bill. If memory serves, one of them, Carney (PA-10), came out against it.
For every RAT that votes against the bill to ensure re-election, Pelosi will need a corresponding number of Republicans voting for the bill in order to get it passed.

I believe that we are not supposed to post text OR TITLE from the Associate Press.I thought the ban has been lifted a while ago, and we can only post the title and the first paragraph?

Post an article that links to an AP article.

The proposed bailout will enable banks to resume making risky loans, especially since their loan origination activity is required to be racial quota-driven.
Or, am I wrong?

You know, I didn't get the impression that they were supporting this at all. Boehner’s tone more closely resembled someone tired of listening to b.s. than someone who was actually supporting this bill. I'm thinking Al Pacino's apology news conference in “Any Given Sunday”.
Let them get some sleep, let them get their heads back together, and we'll see what happens tomorrow. Hopefully they'll eat some spinach and be ready to fight.
