You do know that there isn’t actually a button, right?
Don’t worry America. I might be Affirmative Action, but I can handle the technology.
He might think he has to break open that plastic container and recite its contents over the red telephone to enact a new piece of legislation.
I can see Chris Rock making a joke of this and thus mocking the drones voting for him. Stupidity is somehow comforting to them.

Use of nuclear strike capability? Don’t worry, call me if you need me. I won’t come in the the situation room, I’ll stay out with my peeps and call you occasionally, but I won’t need a desk for the buck that never stops here.
We know that, but the Dims don’t. Just look at all of the left’s outcry against putting McCain in a position to push the button or, worse yet, placing Gov. Palin within a heartbeat of having access to it.
This is total BS! I will admit to being a fairly left of center guy on some issues but this is WAY out of bounds.
Obama should not be trusted and can not be trusted!
McCain is 72, and he manages to push the right button.
McCain not technically smart enought to operate a computer!
Obama too damn stupid to push a button!
Don’t worry Barry....... I have faith in the American People we will “Pull the lever” for the right canidate in November.
In the Legislative voting process, a member ALWAYS has the ability to change his vote, even after the vote is taken. He pressed the button he meant to push.
I believe they are allowed to change their votes if they realize they have voted in error.
I guess he meant to press the “present” button.
Call me a pessimist, but I'm not so sure they will.
>>>”I pressed the wrong button by accident,” he said.
From the mouth of the one that wants control over the football.
With a long habit of voting “present”, not knowing the relative locations of the “yes” and “no” button is understandable.
Same effect if he goes down the wrong matrix to make a selection and I doubt if he will pay attention to the conference advisors.
“99 to 1, ha ha! What nimrod voted for that bill??? What? Me??? I did not! Really? Mr. President! Mr. President, I wish to correct an error with my vote.” That is how it would have gone down if he pushed the wrong button.
