“My fellow Freepers, we have been ringing the phones off the hook in Washington. Good job! However, we are being ignored by the fat cats. It’s time for action! How about mass demonstrations in Washington and all 50 state capitals? That’s what we did when Al Gore tried to steal the 2000 election. How about Monday? Who is with me?”

I have emailed my Rep. and Senator, but have not called the Congress/Senate switchboards. Lost my numbers, and know some Freepers provided toll free numbers. Can you post them? Thanks!

We just don't have the participation we used to have.

Shame.

Yikes - Seek Man Seek!!!Google "US Senators" or US Congress and you will get more phone numbers than you can call in a week.

I e-mailed Boehner, Blunt and yes, even Barney Frank, on this. Called ACORN a criminal organization that should in no way receive any profits from a mess they aided and abetted.

Update: I just called Boehner's office and talked to an aide that assured me they are fighting the ACORN provision tooth and nail. Seemed to appreciate the expression of support.

Toll free numbers to Congress:

(800) 965-4701

(800) 828-0498

Also look on your Congressman’s webpage. They often have local offices.
