WHAT IS THE GALLUP AND RAS FORMULA ??
OVERESTIMATED DEM VOTER AFFLIATIONS IS THE ANSWER !!!
McCain continues to give him a pass on his central role in the subprime disaster. On Rezko. On Ayers.
The 527s are silent.
39 Days to Go.
Not looking good.
Have any of the freepers done any analysis looking at poll results vs. the timing of stories in the media that says racism is to blame for Obama not doing well? I noticed that those racist stories starting coming to surface again early last week and that is when he started climbing in the polls. I am wondering if we went back to the racism claims against the Clintons and compared the timing of that to the poll results, if we would see an upward trend in Obama’s polling numbers.
Of course this could be wishful thinking on my part and I do think Obama is indeed ahead right now, but I am wondering if maybe some of it is indeed due to the Bradley effect.
The McCain-Palin campaig is weaker than the Bush-Cheney campaign ever was.No repsonse to Obama’s ad and lies. McCain gave Obama a pass on several key issues inthe debate. And the decison to suspend the campaign and pull the ads was absolutely moronic. Now the candidate the people only see is Obama. He bought up all of the air time McCain left open and McCain went back to Washington in silence to work on a crisis that most people blame him and the Republicans for. Plus whatever agreement is passed, no one will like it it. McCain can’t win this debate. Not only will he be tied to this financial disaster, he will be blamed for the bail out too.
The McCain campaign has crashed and burned and they have take down the future of Sarah Palin with them. She once had a possible bright future in politics, now it’s over. Four years from now Sarah Palin will be talking about how accepted a spot on this weak campign was the worst career move she could have made.
Way to piss this one away McCain camp. Thank you for paving the way for Barack Hussien Obama to the White House. Way to go.
Color all those yellow states blue (even Indiana). That map is from 9/24. McCain is way behind in all those states now. Be ready for an Obama landslide. McCain blew it by suspending his campaign. It has pissed off Independent voters who will now go heavily to Obama.
When looking at rasmussen, and According to MY calculations,I can calculate (per day) that on Sept 24 Obama got a +4% boost, on Sept 25 Obama got a +7% boost BUT on Sept 25 Obama lost 1% from 7 to 6% .... I will assume that this trend downward will continue in Sundays results...
Now, this is a total guess according to some calculations while drinking beer...
I am trying to extrapolate the results on per day and not an average per 3 days....

I agree... Someone’s gonna vote against someone cause they wanted to make sure they get the name right? That’s just asinine
BINGO! spineless jellyfish, not fighting back
Exactly the alarm I’ve been sending out for months... There WILL be no measurable 527s on our side. Why? So McCain can blast them and apologize on their behalf? Why should they spend the month? It all comes down to how badly McCain wants to win... He needs to show he has the fire in the belly... I’m not convinced... at all.
Bradley effect is BS... Truth is, the fraud trumps whatever Bradley effect you’d have, by a lot.
Zero blamed Bush and the GOP for the $700b disaster, when it was the Dems' fault... What was McCain's response??? Anyone???
The debate was a disaster... It will drive indies to Zero in huge numbers...
Has anyone EVER seen McCain criticize Dems as a party? Ever? He made one quick comment while closing a statement about Zero being a lib, but didn't emphasize that he's #1 and Biden #3.
I don't see how he regains momentum at this point.
I had not heard that before. Obama buying up the abandoned slots seems like it would have been a foreseeable result of McCain canceling them. I admit to not watching much TV, but the few shows I've seen have had what seemed to be wall-to-wall Obama commercials. This explains that.
I would have thought McCain might have at least held onto the time slots and maybe put public service spots or something in the place of campaign ads, but maybe that's not legal since he went with public funding.
Can McCain get those spots back?
They’re not releasing their likely voter numbers right now, but I’d estimate Obama is up by 1 or 2. Could possibly be tied.
frank Newport was on pmsnbc and said that Gallup would show obama +8 later today
what is “the bracelet thing” please?
correction..
McCain’s response:”It’s Wall Street greed!”..
Funny how several stories appear a week ago stating that conventional wisdom says Obama needs a five point lead in the polls to have a chance on election day - and all of a sudden every poll shows him with a five point lead. The stagecraft is looking a little slipshod - guess the Powers That Be are busy with the bailout. ;
