No, Perdogg, it is not a real photo.
They took pictures of Palin in Alaska. But they did not take this. It is a photoshop of Palin’s face on another person’s body.
“Biden will be his usual gaffing, arrogant self in the debates.”
He will call her ‘honey’ or ‘sweetheart’ or something to that effect.
Gibsons ABC interview of Palin was butchered the same way. No big surprise here.
If it were me I’d be upfront in telling ANY future interviewers and their network with a warning against doing this sort of thing and call them on it if and when they do it by plastering the unedited version everywhere I could.
No, the McCain Palin team should give no interviews unless they are allowed to make their own taped copy of every moment spent by the network DNCwhore with the candidate. Then, when the alphabet democrat sycophancy does their dirty work, the campaign can air the truth and shoot the bastards in their smarmy heads just like they deserve, turning their lying into colors smeared on their demigod chosen one.
I don’t understand why they don’t contractually demand the right to approve the edited interview.
It’s ridiculous how the Republicans always give in to what the Democraps want.
My question is what is "unauthorized editing"? A candidate sits down with a news crew for an hour (two if they're lucky) and answers questions. Then the producer works with an editor to cut that 60-120 minutes down to the 15-20 minutes of air time they actually have.
How does one say what is "unauthorized editing" and what was simply editing?
The real solution to this is let the woman do more interviews - LIVE interviews! No editing. No problem. And let her do more than one every 10 days! And let Sarah be Sarah!

Those are NY’s “Bravest.” Cops are “Finest”
No Republican should EVER go on any interview show with the MSM unless there is a written agreement that the interview video and transcript will be made available COMPLETE and unedited.
These MSM scumbags are so in the tank for the Demagogues that it’s too nauseating to watch any of it, and I don’t.
Agreed and with broadcasting time is of the essence.
Governor Palin is however campaigning for the second to top job in the nation.
She must have editorial approval. She should demand it.
They may claim ‘live’ interview but it never is - and editing is part of the job - she knows that - but may be hesitant to ask. Her advisors or handlers should ask before the arrangement is made “subject to acceptance of editing.”
I have seen candidates make a terrible error which is gleefully broadcast (rather than kindly edited out) by the media and it remains for the rest of their public life.
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman” is one example however I could care less Clinton didn’t have editorial rights on this one. It will follow him until he can’t even remember the event. It has become part of his career.
The “problems” that Sarah is having stem from the fact that the McCain people are trying to make her fit into McCain’s mold. She is not used to being “scripted”. She is a free-wheeling maverick for real. If they would turn her loose and let her be Sarah, she would rock the world, and critics be dammed.
I can live with that, too.
Agreed - they introduced a different woman during the convention with her introductions of her family and her work as Governor and Mayor in AK.
She seems hampered now with all the regulations she has to follow - legalities no doubt - but they seem to tie her down instead of speaking from her heart - she is having to remember script.
I miss the woman we first met! Talk about deliverance - I truly felt elevated to hear her speak. That politics could actually be interesting and real and touch home as she did.
Love it!!!!! Dead on too!
True enough. But if FOX News did the very same thing in a prime-time interview with Joe Biden, the Democrats and the rest of the news media would be howling for the FCC to revoke their broadcast license.
Then perhaps the Republicans should get into the act. As it is, the FCC is not on our side anyway, even under the Bush administration. Of course, if it was up to me, I’d get rid of the FCC entirely.
but none of this unexpected....why do ABC?...why CBS?....I would stick to rally speeches and quick answers to local media...townhalls with her walking around answering questions.....commercials....
