I despise the things that Kennedy stands for, I cannot think of one single issue where I ever agreed with him on anything EXCEPT for the necessity of getting rid of Jimmy Carter, but I can’t bring myself to personally hate the guy.
Hate will destroy us all, from the inside out. Look at the left wing and how rabid they are, we’re better than that, we’ve all prayed not only for Ted Kennedy, but for Bill Clinton when he had his heart bypass, even Robert KKK Byrd.
If we claim to be Christians (and I’m a poor example of one, I’ll be the first to admit), we need to try and emulate Almighty God in hating the sin, but loving the sinner.
Still, this particular thing is something we should all pray to have passed from us ~
In my office we had a sort of rash of these things. About 50 people and over a 5 or 6 year period we had 4 of them die of brain tumors.
Some of them agreed with me politically. Others didn't.
You do not ever wish this to happen to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors ~ not even your enemies.
Sadly, I counted 51 out of the first 150. That doesn't speak highly.
