Remember that you only have the power to condemn his actions as right or wrong (and they most certainly were wrong).
But the power to condemn someone’s soul to Heaven or Hell is not yours, but God’s alone.

Get ready for the mods to have to end up locking this thread up because of the posts.

(Good night and good bye Pumpkin,sweet gentleman cat. (June 29, 1998-September 23, 2008) =^..^=)
This would be very bad timing for a Kennedy funeral.

I agree - and I’m glad the abusive comments were removed.
Judgment of another’s soul is, if you’ll pardon the expression, WAY above our pay grades.
However, we can observe and learn from others’ lack of Christian actions.

Hmmm, approximately 63 comments, 9 removed by the mods, that’s not too bad.
I despise the things that Kennedy stands for, I cannot think of one single issue where I ever agreed with him on anything EXCEPT for the necessity of getting rid of Jimmy Carter, but I can’t bring myself to personally hate the guy.
Hate will destroy us all, from the inside out. Look at the left wing and how rabid they are, we’re better than that, we’ve all prayed not only for Ted Kennedy, but for Bill Clinton when he had his heart bypass, even Robert KKK Byrd.
If we claim to be Christians (and I’m a poor example of one, I’ll be the first to admit), we need to try and emulate Almighty God in hating the sin, but loving the sinner.

I would hope that God's love for us is such that He would allow Mr. Kennedy the opportunity to account for himself and repent of his sins. I agree with Ted on virtually nothing, but I have also seen him act quite lovingly toward his own family. Shalom.
