I have spent my whole adult life vehemently disagreeing with Ted Kennedy, but I hope the man recovers. For his family’s sake, I wish him well.

To rise above is to pray for one's enemies. I hope he gains a saving knowledge of the Lord before passing from this life, whenever that might be.

We'll always fight his type. It's just what we do. But we never want them to die without the presence of God in their lives. To wish eternal damnation is to make a mockery of what the Lord did for us. All we really ever wanted was for them to be upright and correct. Otherwise, we would have helped them to the grave long ago.

A close friend of mine had a similar tumor He had similar surgery. It was tough working with him through the progression from first having a seizure through his first surgery through his progression into epilepsy, and then finally to a terminal seizure.

Terminal seizure ~ that's the last one. It kills.

Teddy is following the same course ~ and it's just as tough to watch him suffer through it as it was to watch my friend.
