If you have read Michael Ledeen's The Iranian Time Bomb you will know this, but apparently BHO does not: on every occasion when we have attempted to escalate the seniority of contacts with Iran, they've used the occasion to very ceremoniously slam the door in our faces for domestic propaganda value. They get a huge kick out of it.

One can only imagine the insane cackles of laughter with which Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, will greet the news that he would be willing to meet with a mere President of the United States when he awakens in the morning.

Yes, the Mullahocracy loves to kick us in the teeth any chance they get, and Obambi would be such an easy mark for them..... they would lead him along until he makes some public commitment for “dialogue” and then they will spit all over him and laugh about it.
