There was only one presidential debate in 1980 and here is a short clip from that debate between Governor Ronald Reagan and soon to be unemployed president jimmy carter. Reagan proved the best way to handle an elitist liberal like carter is with humor and an ability to speak in a conversational manner directly to the individual American voter in a simple and honest way.
Reagan's warmth by contrast made carter look like a stiff jerk and i hope that tonight even in small measure Sen. McCain will be able to duplicate that masterful performance by the great President Ronald Reagan
OH LORDY that great YOU TUBE LOL!
God almighty, I sure do miss that man.
Brings a tear to my eye. I remember watching that debate live in 1980. I was 30 years old and knew Reagan had the election that night.
I was in the mining business when the miserable Jimmah Cahtah was in the WH. I cannot tell you how happy we all were when he was fired and it was “morning in America again.”
in a horrible nightmare scenario, if we could imagine a worse presidency than jimmah al-carter, it would be obwana.
A Reagan quip...
The Soviet leader went up to a peasant in the field and asked:
Leader: How are the crops doing?
Peasant: They’re doing great!
Leader: How are the potatoes?
Peasant: If you could stack up all of our potatoes in one pile they’d reach the feet of God!
Leader: This is the Soviet Union! There is no God!
Peasant: Well, that’s OK because there aren’t any potatoes!
It would be Jimmah’s second term.
Ronald Reagan, jimmy carter.
John McCain, barack obama.
great debate:

Me too!
Carter mentions “national health insurance” and Reagan starts laughing, you know what he’s thinking. “He just said “NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE”, LOL, he’ll be lucky to win Georgia”
Only in celebutard America where Hillary Clinton’s behind closed doors, exposed as horrid Socialized Medicine Plan that helped democrats lose the house for the first time in 40 years qualify her and her party as the “experts” on “National Health Care”.
WOW, I was really struck by how Carter’s first part on health care was word for word what we are hearing now 28 years later. The democratic party line never changes.
one look at all the stupid loons who have been slobbering all over obwana and we can see that it hasn't had to
