Perhaps he intends to build a 'grievance file' in support of this bill for future reintroduction in the senate. In any event, if you remember that nightmare bill "Voter Intimidation Prevention Act of 2007" the typical Dem Tactic was clear. If you want to make it easier to intimidate voters, pass a law against it (since the Dems aren't required to 'follow the law' anyway).

Here in St. Louis they make it very clear that we can expect harrassment, vandalism or worse if we put up McCain signs or even bumper stickers on our cars. The First Amendment is dead in this dying, Democrat-controlled town. Looks like I can expect no protection from the police or the Circuit Attorney’s Office. I may as well be living in Havana or Beijing. I really believe that the next move is going to be a weapons confiscation.
It’s not good to hear about what is going on in Missouri.

I am also sending emails and spreading the info about the “Obama Squad” in Missouri. Hopfully this will get more coverage on Monday on talk radio. Sure the MSM will not touch it as sure they go along with the Obama Squad of Missouri prosecutors on this!

The governor is Matt Blunt (a Republican and the son of Roy Blunt, The Minority Whip in Congress). The Missouri Republican Committee is preparing legal challenges, but the judiciary is overwhelmingly Democrat and the Attorney General (Jay Nixon) is an Obama-worshipping Democrat candidate for governor desparately seeking coat-tails. I don’t see much chance for legal redress on the state level.
