NEW HAVEN — Mayor John DeStefano Jr. and supporters lashed back at the Community Watchdog Project, an anti-illegal immigration group, releasing e-mails Thursday sent to city staff members from across the country in opposition to a Mexican flag flying on the Green flagpole.
"We do not tolerate hate," DeStefano said, standing in front of the flagpole and backed by representatives of the Irish, Polish and Italian communities, as well as the NAACP and the Anti-Defamation League.
"A lot of people have cultural amnesia. They forget they were the sons and daughters of immigrants, and they criticize the next group that comes along," said Daniel Diaz of Arte Inc., which promotes local Latino culture.
Diaz carried a Puerto Rican flag at Thursday’s press conference. The Puerto Rican flag has been flown for years on the Green for various events.

Folks, it’s becoming very clear that we’re going to need a wholesale cleanout of EVERY politician throughout this land...and soon. This corruption must end. And - I’m becoming increasingly convinced that these crooks will not go willingly. We had one revolution - are we strong enough to have another?

Any elected Government offical that flies any flag other then the American Flag on PUBLIC flag pole should immediately be fired from their position.

No we don't. Our memory is better than yours you bureaucratic Clymer. Those immigrants came here legally without the intent of feasting at the government trough. There wasn't one in those times. They also came here without the "free store" attitude. They also made sure that they didn't help cause the conditions they left behind here by assimilating instead of demanding everyone accommodate them.

No. We are not even strong enough as a people to stand up against the Islamofacists.
Decade upon decade of Government programs to enslave the poeple have taken the wind out of most peoples sails. So many are now dependant on the Government in some manner for their survival that they would stand against you with the Government.
The only way I see the change happen is the Country does hot bottom and breaks through and comes out the other side and can start over again.

The last time I drove through the farms of California, the ‘workers’ had a huge Mexican flag flying near one of their big trucks in the middle of the field where they were gathered.
This is OUR country, regardless of how ignorant or deceptive the illegals want to be about history.
A Mexican flag flying alone on AMERICAN soil. Think about that. Yeah, they need to be torn down and burned.
If we have the Depression some are predicting, that would certainly prompt one. But as long as people are comfortable, they’ll let parasites gnaw on their flesh.
At least the REgister has a fairly moderate stance compared to the local TV news who described any message disagreeing with Destafano as bigoted.

What I can’t understand...........how does DeStefano manage to govern at the same time he’s waddling on his knees with his mouth sucking-up the backsides of illegals?
