Nothing new here - she’s been running down Palin since the announcement. It’s tough being irrelevant, isn’t it, Kathleen?

Quick study or not, she doesn't know enough about economics and foreign policy to make Americans comfortable with a President Palin should conditions warrant her promotion.
Yes, she does. Economics: you don't use the federal government to even out the incomes of individual citizens according to what a small cabal of folks in the federal government think is "fair". You don't use the federal government to enact social policy by forcing financial institutions into behavior that is financially senseless. Foreign policy: Just because Botswana or Syria are considered nations, they are not functional equivalents of the United States. The health and welfare of the United States comes before the health and welfare of any other nation. If foreign nations want to work with us within the context of constitutional principles of liberty, fine. If they don't want to do so, they can go their own way. If their own way consists in attempting to undermine the health and safety of the United States, the U.S. federal government, through the executive branch, takes whatever steps necessary to protect the nation, from private admonishment and threats to sudden, catastrophic action.
