Was about to say the same thing! What kind of a President do we have that wanted to ram this bill down the throats of the taxpayer?
I voted for Pres. Bush twice. He has disappointed me beyond words. War on Terror is necessary. Taking it to the murderous b******* in Afghanistan and Iraq, IMO, was the right thing to do. But then something happened and Bush apparantly opted to fight a minimalist rather than decisive war. Hence, seven years later, we have not nailed down the lid on these guys. President finds a way to turn a positive to a negative.
Tax cuts were a good thing. Did what they were supposed to do. Economy should have been healthy. But, despite warnings from McCain, Greenspan and others, nothing was done about subprime lending. The Presdent has a cabinet postion called Housing and Urban Development. That cabinet member should have known what was coming. Once again the President turns a positive to negative.
Then we found out our President was maneuvering to remove Canadian and Mexican borders in the name of globalization. Then he got on the global warming train. Then he supported legalizing—without conditions—illegal aliens. Now he’s willing to sign up to a dem bail out bill that includes ACORN.
It’s so sad. But, thankfully, the internet is making it increasingly impossible for the elected elite to operate in the dark.
