New Elections Chief Has Udall Ties, Too (New Mexico/Democrats)

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Secretary of State's Office can't seem to avoid controversy in choosing a new Bureau of Elections director.

Just three weeks after the office's previous choice, the son-in-law of Democratic Rep. and U.S. Senate candidate Tom Udall, declined the job amidst a flurry of criticism, the new pick for the post has come under similar fire.

Gerald Gonzalez, a Santa Fe attorney, also has connections to Udall, having worked for the congressman while Udall was New Mexico attorney general from 1995 to 1998 and later serving as Udall's chief of staff during his first term in the U.S. House from 1998 to 2000.

State Republicans immediately criticized the hire. "They should just give up and have Udall himself count the votes," party spokeswoman Shira Rawlinson said Wednesday in a statement.

And the NM SOS printed 2.5 million election ballots even though only 1.1 million are registered in the state. Further, Richardson guaranteed Obama, publicly, 102% of the vote in Rio Arriba county. NM is as bad as Philadelphia.

Ever since I was a little girl I can remember my parents and grandparents discussing how corrupt state politics in NM were. Nothing has changed except that the greed and lust for power is much worse now. Udall is sold out to environmentalists and he is anti gun. He is my congress critter and I’ve blasted him on various concerns, and he lied to me on the gun issue. He said he’s pro gun but his record tells the truth. He’s anti gun!

Well, This development is a really big surprise.

Why don’t they just cut out the middleman and let Little Commie Tommie count the votes himself?

Or just skip the election completely and let ‘King Bill’ select those he favors.

That would save time and worry.

I'm so sick of this. I just had to let off steam, and sent this email to our esteemed Mary Herrera:
----------------------------------------------

Do you feel the ground shaking?

All the past corrupt Democrat New Mexico Secretaries of State are turning over in their graves.

They are moaning: "Couldn't she at least be a little more subtle?" "She is giving the usual good old NM democrat vote fraud a bad name."

Thank you very much, for once again making New Mexico look like an inept third world dictatorship.
---------------------------------------------------------

Not that it will do any good. She and King Bill have taken their gloves off.... and showing every honest New Mexican their middle fingers only.

HA!!!
I actually received a two word reply from The Secretary of State to the email I sent:

No, not THOSE two words, although I suppose that is what she really wanted to say.

It was” “Your Welcome”

Yes; Your. Not: You are; nor: You’re.

Illiterate, as well as corrupt.
