No, get rid of the liberal tool who’s running GE into the ground. Let the new guy fire the execs at NBC who are running the network into the ground.

....damn straight!...I’m a long time shareholder and things were a lot better when Jack Welch was CEO....and btw, I fired off and angry e-mail to them over SNL’s recent hatchet jobs on McCain-Palin.

I worked for GE for 22 years and Jack Welch’s leadership made me a lot of money in salary and in stock appreciation.

Left GE in 2004 and sold much of my position in GE after Immelt took over

Immelt has done nothing but destroy all that Jack had built.

Jack was/is rock solid. He was on H & C last night. Didn’t catch the whole thing, so I don’t know if he talked about GE (O’Reilly brought it up on his show), but he looked like he wanted to kill Alan Colms.

Why not? All we need to do is print more money and the problem is solved. Econcomics is so easy. /sarc

Wasn’t Imelt the handpicked successor of Welch?

” Wasn’t Imelt the handpicked successor of Welch? “

Yes he was. Came down to the following:

McNerney - 3M and then Boeing - solid job

Nardelli - Home Depot - tanked / big severance pkg

Wonder if McNerney would return if Jeff I is given the boot.

Would have to say he’d be a good candidate

He was. One cannot always predict what another will do. You can instruct, and tutor and guide. But when they're on their own...thier true colors show. And Immelt's true color is showing....RED
