What is going on tonight?
NY Times had it in an email it was McCain’s idea for this meeting on the bailout and that Obama originally said no. Also said that McCain talked to Bush this afternoon and then their staffs talked and Bush called Obama at 7:30 tonight.

Stop and consider: CNN tells an inconvenient truth about Obama-Biden; NYT tells the truth about McCain's precedent-setting decision to return to Washington.
Submitted for your approval: a wilderness of mirrors normally exaggerating Republican defects while photoshopping Democrat crimes has suddenly presented reality.
The signpost up ahead--next stop: The Twilight Zone.

I see Katie Couric cursing in a rumbly bass, head spinning three-sixty, levitating and rotating above her set, vomiting pea soup and praising John McCain.
Could be an end times thing.

I think they realize how angry all the American people are about this financial crisis. The anger is becoming palpable. At some point, pitchforks may come to D.C., and they want to look like they are not part of the problem. They are afraid it may blow back on them. But as you said, too little, too late, too bad.

Omigosh!
ROTFLOL!
That’s GREAT!
Billy Jeff’s pants are real low-riders! ;o)
