Back in ‘96 or ‘97, Matt Drudge had a newsletter, I became a subscriber and found out about Jim Robinson. Jim and exchanged emails and he told me about FR. I checked it out and lurked for a while before I joined.
I have been computing since ‘85, first it was Prodigy, then GEnie, then the Internet.
I might have left some stuff out, I don’t dwell in the past. ;);)
My goodness, you have been computing for awhile. Talk about changes in the internet in your period of experience. WOW! d:o) My first home computer was just before I found FR.
