Obama says Bail-out Bill Must Allow deadbeat Homeowners to Keep Their Homes

Obama on CNBC now. Has announced that he and McCain are suspending their campaigns to deal with financial mess. Obama says Dems will allow no bail-out bill that does not let "all homeowners in trouble" to keep their homes. This seems to mean that those millions of deadbeats who took mortgages they knew they couldn't honor will get their homes on the taxpayers' dime. This seems even worse than the government taking possession of bad loans. It suggests excusing the loans. Also, bill must contain some sort of punishment for business executives.
If this is as Obama says, it seems unlikely that any bill will occur before January and that whatever bill passes will punish the responsible and hard-working. If Obama wins the election, then all bets are off.

Never thought of that, but he will be what he is—the junior senator sitting in the back of the room. While McCain is sitting in the front row—lol. Obama blabs, blabs, blabs. I can’t stand Obama. Obama is not suspending his campaign. He is not going to delay the debates. He says he is showing up. I am sure he will continue with his commercials as well, whereas McCain is pulling his commercials until Monday or until he comes back. <p.Obama is so very parisan. He is a hateful person.

He also stated that the best way to help this issue is to release a joint statement saying its an important issue.
Is that what we pay these jerks for? Get your a** back there and pretend like you have a clue.

" I bought a modest $125,000 house, even though I gross about $90K a year. Why? Because I didn't want to get in over my head, and I'm not." You are much like me. I bought a $160K home (now worth $300K), make just over $100K/yr, and drive an old 1996 truck. I sleep a lot easier knowing that I am not living on the edge of financial disaster.

This simple scumbag Obama is certainly aware that deadbeats are a huge “base” constituency of the Democrat party. He’s only making sure he’s got the deadbeat vote sewn up.

I put 35% down on my current home and didn't take on a mortgage I couldn't afford and I pay my taxes and bills on time...and I work my arse off to do it. What do I get for it? I get to pay for the Bailout and all of Barry's loose change ideas. So nice to see thrift and diligence rewarded by Barry /S!!!

Obama has just upstaged McCain big time . He said he "reached out" to McCain this morning and suggested they issue a joint statement on the economic crisis. He also laid out a reasonable sounding plan. That must have been a shock to McCain and it was after the call this morning that McCain cancelled Friday's debate. He must have realized that Obama is quite well prepared and he, McCain, still has work to do!

Obama says Dems will allow no bail-out bill that does not let all homeowners in trouble to keep their homes.Great idea. But, in the interest of fairness, the hundreds of thousands of deadbeats who went into foreclosure the last couple of years will also have to get their homes back.
To: pabianice
BUMP this headline all day long.
To: pabianice
I would love a job ripping deadbeats out of the homes they don't belong in.

Pure Socialism and surely Obama is not stupid enough to ignore that about 70% of this country does not want this bailout and that the economy should be allowed to sort itself out, bailing these people and institutions out will not help, it will create and set a bad example that Govt is there to bail you out without personal responsibility, well thats not the way it works, folks. You take on bad credit and lie and sponge the system, tough.

The One is not suspending his campaign. He might have to when a good number of his staff will be under indictment due to funny business with Fannie/Freddie.

The sheriff is hired to enforce the law, and the courts will hold someone to a legally binding contract. This is a bedrock for a stable society. Must not be the case in Obamas homeland.
