I think someone in his campaign read Mark Steyn's post on
National Review this morning and got it. I think taking McCain off the trail plays to his strengths as a larger than life figure. Obama cannot match that. The hero coming to his country's need. That's great copy, fantastic headline and even the hostile MSM has to admit that McCain just changed the conversation throughout the country.
